The project started after the overturn of Roe v. Wade.
Based on the report, thousands of people will flood into
California for abortion services. This mixed-use park
aims to provide shelter for people who seek healthcare
and offer a relaxing green space for the local citizens.
The center had to fit two contradictory needs: open to the public and provide privacy for the people who need an abortion.
Volume and landscape became the white and black space. They composed together to create a harmonious plan.
There are three types of oval plazes which provide diffrerent functional space.
